However, when I was introduced to the profession of Doula, it resonated with my soul and made my heart sing… I knew from that moment that being a Doula would not involve work for me, but be a part of the fulfillment of my destiny.
Birth is such a beautiful miracle of life and being able to support a mother, her partner and significant others through labor, delivery and those precious first moments in postpartum is such a remarkable experience and blessing. My goal is to ensure that each mother has her best birth experience – even in the event that she has to alter her original birth plan, she will feel confident, empowered and satisfied with her birth experience. I live in the South Hills outside of Pittsburgh, am the proud mother of two amazing adult daughters and granny to a handsome grandson and beautiful granddaughter, who have thoroughly convinced me that being a grandmother is the absolute best. I appreciate the unique journey of birth and value the inimitable role of each mother. Therefore, I focus on building trust before the birth and customize my approach based on your expressed needs and desires.
