Having a doula helped me understand my options and build my confidence prior to the big day. When I finally went into labor, I was able to feel relaxed, informed, supported, and cared for because of my doula. She helped remind me of different coping methods we could use and made sure that my concerns were heard by the medical staff. I know that her support was the reason I had such a memorable, empowering birth, and now I want to be able to do the same for you. The birth of a child is a powerful, life-changing event, and every woman deserves to feel supported and empowered throughout that process. It would be my honor to get to partner with you to make the birth of your child a memorable and empowering experience. As your birth doula, I will help you feel informed about your options throughout pregnancy and labor and give you the emotional and physical support you need throughout labor and delivery. In my spare time, I volunteer heavily at my church and run a small consulting business. I live in Canonsburg with my son and wonderful husband, David. We love ice cream, long walks, and vacationing to California. |
