Carrie Jones

As a doula, my hope for you is that you feel loved and supported through your birth, no matter what the circumstances.  I was trained as a postpartum doula in June 2015, and later as a birth doula in January 2016.  Doula work is a passion of mine because of my love of people - how they interact, support one another, and relate.

My favorite aspect of doula work is getting to see the love relationship blossom between parents as they meet this greatly anticipated challenge.  It's a wild ride emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually...and that is why I feel so blessed to witness it.

I live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with my husband and two precious daughters, who are nine and four years old.  Pregnancy, birth, and nursing them was the beginning of my interest in all things birth and early parenthood.  When we're not hanging out at home, you can find us at church, horseback riding, gymnastics, dance, or softball.

It is a joy to walk with you through this dynamic and exciting time in your life!
