Debi ScirankaDebi is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and DONA certified birth doula. She has been supporting women and their families for 5 years and has attended over 40 births both with private clients through Birth Doulas of Pittsburgh and with at-risk women through UPMC’s Birth Circle. She is passionate about birth work and considers it an honor to witness women discovering their inner power and strength and reveling in what they are capable of. Debi nurtures the innate wisdom of each woman and encourages them to trust their bodies in giving birth.
Except for living for 4 years in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (where her passion for birth was ignited), Debra is Pittsburgh born and raised. She lives in McCandless on the north end of town with her husband of over 40 years and her kitties. |
