Classes will adjust topics according to your needs and will also include: common myths about breastfeeding, how the breasts make milk,  how to achieve a proper latch, how to know baby is getting enough, what to expect in the first few weeks, nursing multiples,  how to prevent and treat sore nipples, how to prevent and resolve engorgement,  how to choose a breast pump, working and breastfeeding and more. Ideally for mothers between 28-35 weeks of pregnancy. Sankofa Lactation Services also provides private in-home lactation consultations.
